About The Founder
Elder Yolanda Roberson
Kingdom Jewels Ministries Inc.
Elder Yolanda Roberson's life’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for spiritual, educational, and familial empowerment. For nearly 20 years, Yolanda has centered her work around equipping the next generation with the tools necessary to be the best version of themselves. Her work in education has afforded her the privilege of seeing the diverse talents and needs of the youth in the city of Milwaukee. Through this observation, she has been strategic in how she serves the youth from serving as a Support Specialist to being the founder of Kingdom Jewels.
Kingdom Jewels serve as an oasis that propels young ladies to begin their journey into adulthood from lessons of etiquette, and Godly living to college preparation. Elder Yolanda’s desire for Kingdom Jewels is to see young girls raised in the word of God to be strong and confident in whom God has purposed them to be. Through this effort, more than 150 young ladies have completed the program.
Elder Yolanda’s call to ministry was celebrated on August 12th, 2007, as she was consecrated as Elder. This milestone and affirmation have afforded her to serve in many capacities of ministry that impact the work of the church and ultimately enhance the lives of people.
Elder Yolanda attributes her monumental achievements to the help of God and the support of her loving family. She has been married to her husband Curtis for 30 years and has been graced with 2 children, along with 4 grandchildren. Yolanda lives by the motto “To God be the Glory for the great things he has done”.

Our
History
Through the unction of the Holy Spirit, our Founder, Elder Yolanda Roberson, was awakened at 1:00 in the morning on March 25th, 2004. God placed in her heart the scriptures found in Titus 2:3-5, which places a charge on older women in the church to be examples to younger women. Thus, the ministry and sisterhood of Kingdom Jewels, Incorporated was born.
The purpose of Kingdom Jewels, Inc. is to meet the spiritual and social needs of young ladies between the ages of 11-19.
Our first official meeting was held in October 2004 in a third-grade classroom at Greater Holy Temple Christian Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was decided at this meeting to establish an Executive Board, which consisted of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
An election was held, the Executive Board members were put into place and our first Kingdom Jewel meeting of 20 members was held.
The interest of young men in Kingdom Jewels, Inc. inspired our Founder to establish the ministry and brotherhood of Kingdom Gents on March 25th, 2005, based on the scripture Titus 2:6-8. We began our second year of operation at Greater Holy Temple Christian Academy in September 2006.
In October 2006, Kingdom Jewels, Inc. officially began the establishment of chapters thus the Alpha Chapter of Kingdom Jewels, Incorporated was begun. In November of 2009, Kingdom Gents became Strong Hearts Men of Distinction and adopted the Greek letters ΣΘΉ under the watchful eye of Director Pastor Samuel Coleman. Today Kingdom Jewels Ministries is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation.
Our little sister organizations include Diamonds, established on May 12th, 2005, and Gemettes, established on February 21st, 2007.
